I feel pretty, oh so pretty,
I feel pretty and witty and bright,
and I pity any girl who isn't me tonight.
I feel charming, oh so charming,
it's alarming how charming I feel...
I feel stunning and entrancing,
feel like running and dancing for joy!
Ha ha. Well, I love the song anyway. I have a version with Annie Ross singing it. It's positively gleeful. I'm psyched for chirpiness. Let's see:

  1. It's not raining. Yey.
  2. It's only partly cloudy.
  3. The obvious: It's spring.
  4. Which brings to mind another pretty ditty: They say it's spring, this feeling light as a feather...They say it's May, that's made me daft as a daisy Blossom Dearie. She's a great singer. She has a kind of irreverent, but soulful style, and particular charms singing in French with her American accent.
  5. I've lost 1.5 pounds. Now, yes I've heard about the Bridgit Diaries, although I've only read excerpts. Recording your weight on a daily basis (ESPECIALLY When you're already thin girl! 127 lbs. She's worried?) is a habit I hope to avoid. But for the moment as I scratch my brain patterns for cheerful, upbeat, and postive thoughts, this sprang to mind.
  6. What else? I'm stumped. It's allergy season and the positive side of my brain is weak.
