| I feel pretty, oh so pretty, I feel pretty and witty and bright, and I pity any girl who isn't me tonight. I feel charming, oh so charming, it's alarming how charming I feel... I feel stunning and entrancing, feel like running and dancing for joy! |
Ha ha. Well, I love the song anyway. I have a version with Annie Ross singing it. It's positively gleeful. I'm psyched for chirpiness. Let's see:
- It's not raining. Yey.
- It's only partly cloudy.
- The obvious: It's spring.
- Which brings to mind another pretty ditty: They say it's spring, this feeling light as a feather...They say it's May, that's made me daft as a daisy Blossom Dearie. She's a great singer. She has a kind of irreverent, but soulful style, and particular charms singing in French with her American accent.
- I've lost 1.5 pounds. Now, yes I've heard about the Bridgit Diaries, although I've only read excerpts. Recording your weight on a daily basis (ESPECIALLY When you're already thin girl! 127 lbs. She's worried?) is a habit I hope to avoid. But for the moment as I scratch my brain patterns for cheerful, upbeat, and postive thoughts, this sprang to mind.
- What else? I'm stumped. It's allergy season and the positive side of my brain is weak.
