Watched a show on how advertising creates culture by dominating our public space, blah, blah, blah. Fascinating, but a downer. Not like the scintillatingly funny book I
borrowed from the library, or so I hope it will be. Haven't started reading it yet. Bridgit Jones's diary. I suspect it will not be the rip-roaringly funny experience I had reading The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole: aged 13-1/2 I think the title was. It was, as the ad says, priceless. This one promises to be somewhat depressing. But I'm being negative.
